Walk With Me Where No One Follows by Nadja Martens

“Walk with me Where no one follows” an exhibition of new works by Nadja Martens Most of my works represent self portraits and show an internal scenario. At times my art depicts my observation of the world. Generally though, my art tends to speak about emotional conditions in respect to today’s world and its social and personal challenges. I use subjects from the animal kingdom to symbolize certain feelings and choose an environment that suits the condition of that particular state of being. “The Departure” speaks about choosing one’s own path rather than following a path chosen and expected by external sources. Social rules are being burned as they do not apply anymore once one is in charge of their own will. Away from a safe port and off onto an adventure: one’s very own journey. ~Nadja M. Visual Spectrum Nicole Linde

Visual Spectrum new paintings by Nicole Linde Visual Spectrum is a series of paintings inspired by things unseen. It is a collection of oil paintings Linde has been working on this last year influenced by the notion that there is a world that is seen with the eyes and five physical senses that makes up the fabric of our Visual Spectrum. These paintings are an exploration of another world; a more subtle dimension that can be seen or felt with the sixth sense of intuition. The process of these paintings have been in correlation with Linde’s own daily meditation and spiritual explorations.
