“Orbiter” new paintings by Nicole Linde Abstract paintings are a form of meditation for me; they are a way for me to let my energy flow during their creation. They help me to process and transform the chaotic randomness of constant information input into a tranquil abstract world on canvas. I strive to create a language of colors, shapes, symbols, and lines forming movement and rhythms. “Orbiter” is a series of paintings exploring the relationship of my loud outer-self orbiting my quieter inner-self. Encaustic Imagery – Embedding and Transfers with Shannon Amidon Take your drawings, images and photos to new level by learning to combine them with ancient art of encaustic. This overview workshop will cover materials selection, how to choose your imagery, embedding, layering and transfer techniques. Proper tools and safety procedures will be discussed.
