Misprints by Andrew Irvine _ Solo Exhibit February 2026

KALEID Gallery is proud to present: Misprints Andrew Irvine Solo Exhibition Artist’s reception: Friday February 6th 5pm–9pmpart of the First Fridays ArtWalk SJ in SoFA District “Misprints” marks a new chapter in Andrew Irvine’s ongoing exploration of uncertainty, following his previous solo exhibitions at KALEID Gallery, Atomic Number 92 and Quantum Foundations. While earlier work examined uncertainty through chemistry and physics, this exhibition turns toward process itself as the central subject. The work brings together clay 3D printing, hand-building, and raku glazing, processes that promise control yet consistently resist it. Digital models initiate the forms, but gravity, moisture, heat, and chance ultimately shape the outcome. Layer shifts, visible seams, collapses, tears, and unpredictable glaze effects are left intact, not as mistakes, but as records of how each piece came into being. These objects reflect the tension between intention and outcome, where the artist can define conditions but cannot dictate results.…

“A Life in Notes and Colors” Gianfranco Paolozzi Solo Exhibition May 2024

KALEID Gallery is proud to present: A Life in Notes and Color by resident artist Gianfranco Paolozzi. Artist’s Reception: Friday, May 3rd, 5pm–9pm during First Fridays ArtWalk SJ . Free admission and all ages. I’ve created this new series of paintings because I’m continuously inspired by music and color and I wanted to show the connection between them. When I was about 4 years old, I remember being glued to my parent’s radio when I heard classical music; unable to do anything but listen intently. Musical notes are always with me. Color has always inspired me as well. Around the age of 5, I received a trophy for a very colorful drawing I made. So music and color have been a part of my life and, of course, my art, since they are my very first memories as a child. I have used them to tell the stories of my…

“Unification of The Collective Intuition” Jonathan Perea Solo Exhibit September 2023

Unification of The Collective Intuition Jonathan Perea solo exhibition “I am compelled to create, I see faces everywhere and fractal holograms, and in my art there exists the programming of a new metaphor that promotes healing, balance and equilibrium. The holographic, energetic, eternal patterns in my art resonate in nature, and the source within each of us, freeing the soul to create its own path. I strive to conceive connections that bind our reality to one. Aho!”  We are more than our physical body. The old thinking of limitation and restriction has expired. Spirituality and science demonstrate profoundly that we are multidimensional, non-local, cosmically energetic, and deathless. We all carry a potentiality that is infinite, self healing and  mathematically fractal by design. Because we are slowly waking up to who we really are, anything is possible because we are in a dream.   Through epigenetics, psychoneuroimmunology, nature, and the collective human biome – as above,…

“The Age of Enlightenment” David Mejia Solo Exhibit April 2023

KALEID Gallery is proud to present: The Age of Enlightenment David V. Mejia solo exhibition We owe much to the thinkers and innovators of the Enlightenment period. Explorers, inventors, mathematicians, scientists, politicians, philosophers, and writers changed people’s lives, how they see the world, challenging the thousand-year-old Medieval authority.  This was the dawn of our modern world. My art show explores some of the key figures like Isaac Newton, John Locke, Voltaire, and others who gave us concepts we take for granted today, such as gravity, representational government, and Liberty.  I’ve pulled together my interest in Western history and philosophy, with a blend of art styles from early European paintings and political cartoons, modern comics, caricature art, and watercolors. This is my labor of love I’ve devoted the past year to. I hope you enjoy it and come away with a greater interest and fascination with our shared modern cultural beginnings. About…

“Sentience” feature exhibition by Patrick Hobbie NOV. 2020

Peaceful Llama by Patrick Hobbie from his Sentience exhibition. KALEID Gallery is proud to present: Sentience by resident artist Patrick Hobbie “Sentience” is the capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively. This definition goes hand in hand with something I’ve always considered to be a cornerstone of my work: To recreate energy in nature so that the viewer may connect on a deeper level. The sentience in these works not only exist in the animal subjects but are meant to be experienced by the viewer as well. This feeling of subjective perceptual experiences is the purpose of these works. Patrick Hobbie’s art is influenced by the light and dark. Form in chaos. Strength in vulnerability. This self-taught artist has no formal training but grew up in an artistic home. His mother, a painter, and his father, a professional photographer, taught him at an early age the techniques of their trades.…
