Each piece represents a concept from the development of science in the last century, a journey that has led humanity to the fringes of reality, existence and space-time. The refractive and reflective qualities of lustre glaze colors compliment this inspiration and come from metallic nano-layer deposited on the glaze surface, resulting in vibrant, elusive, otherworldly colors that burst to life when viewed in different light sources. Équilibre Divine by Jonathan Perea

KALEID Gallery is proud to present: Équilibre Divine New drawings by Jonathan Perea “ I am compelled to create, to share with people another reality, opening an awareness of profound meaning without conventional boundaries. In my art exists the programming of a new metaphor that promotes healing, balance and equilibrium. The holographic, energetic, eternal patterns found in nature resonate with the source within each of us and frees the spirit to find its own path. The contrast of fear and love drive us towards growth as a conduit to nourish the mind and the heart and set the soul free. We are all on a journey of self discovery, but we have to learn to let go of old beliefs so the spirit can truly soar.”    ~ artist Jonathan Perea Artist Reception: Friday Aug. 3rd 7pm–11pm part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk in downtown San Jose Exhibition Dates: August…
