Fresh Terrain by Al Preciado

KALEID Gallery is very proud to present “Fresh Terrain” by KALEID Gallery resident artist Al Preciado. This exhibit explores the landscape of the local Scenery and interesting figurative forms. The woman as muse and mythology figure is part of my work process. Big sloppy, incoherent brush strokes are part of my working technique. I enjoy having absolute freedom!!! ~Al Preciado Artist Reception: Friday April 6th 7pm–11pm part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk in downtown San Jose Exhibition Dates: April 6–27, 2018 88 South Fourth Street (@ San Fernando) San Jose, CA 95112 info@KALEIDGallery.com 408-947-1785Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, noon -7pm Free admission…

Breaking Free by Lourdes Morante-Mieses

KALEID Gallery proudly presents “Breaking Free” by resident artist Lourdes Morante-Mieses. In this modern society, a variety of stressors–economic challenges, racial and social oppression, and family issues–distress the individual in so many ways resulting in physical and emotional health problems that, in some cases, could be fatal. This show is intended to inspire the viewers to take important steps in their own lives to break old patterns and emotional chains to achieve freedom, peace, health, balance, and happiness. “Art is a form of expression and release for the soul. The making of art creates room for peace, strength, health, happiness and joy.” ~Lourdes Morante-Mieses Artist Reception: Friday April 6th 7pm–11pm part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk in downtown San JoseExhibition Dates: April 6–27, 2018 88 South Fourth Street (@ San Fernando) San Jose, CA 95112 info@KALEIDGallery.com 408-947-1785Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, noon -7pm Free admission…
