The title of this piece and the question scrawled along the bottom sums up what he wanted to ask of himself, and maybe wanted others to consider, before we move on from this place. money, flowers (beauty) and other things we obsess over won’t matter when it’s time to go. His expectation is that at some point we return to a time, if there ever was one, where we value our interdependence and relationships to one another above all else.
